Sorry to hear of your present condition. The book I have says this about night panic
"I'm preparing for bed but I won't try to force sleep. If it comes it comes, if it doesn't I won't beat myself up over it.vThis is a period I'm going through, but I'll soon return to normal sleep patterns."
Claire Weekes recommended changing the position of your bed in the room.
Others even say force yourself to stay awake.
What they all do is remove the pressure of having to sleep. Forget all this 8 hours sleep per night rubbish, many survive on hardly any sleep at all.
