How are you doing? Hope the fear has eased or that mindfulness techniques are helping you distance yourself or defuse from it ( that's what I'm doing.)
Sleep is a bugger isn't it?
The NHS has some great advice on sleep. Ritual really worked for me.https://www.nhs.uk/Livewell/insomnia/Pa ... itual.aspx
The ritual of last resort for me is a hypnosis recording I only ever listen to at bedtime. Got to the point now where my brain so associates it with sleep that it almost always works however tightly wound or fearful I am, even when too antsy to meditate.
I'm aware of the irony in my posting this in the early hours
but don't let that put you off. My problem is no longer getting to sleep, it is wanting to.
