Re: Some hope

That is really great. Things like that always help give a feeling of a safety net.

Re: unsure

I have complex ptsd too. The psychiatrist I saw recently has told me that he thinks the personality disorder traits that I also have could disappear completely if the trauma was successfully treated. I see a lot of parallels between us. How effect do you feel the EMDR was?

Re: What’s wrong with me?

Having this level of negative feeling about yourself is a sign that what happened with your father and your brother has deeply affected you. I recommend speaking to a GP about getting a referral to someone who can check to see if you have a diagnosis that is related to these experiences. It is impor...

Re: Anyone know more about disassociation?

Re: St. John's wort and 5-HTP

I am not sure, but St John's Wort can be powerful stuff, I would ask the doctor to be on the safe side. Or google research on it, good research, not anecdotal stuff from forums like here haha

Re: What's wrong with me??

Are you seeing a mental health worker of some sort like a psychiatrist or psychologist? Or is it just a GP?

It sounds to me like a proper diagnosis process would really help you.

How old are your kids?

And how are you doing now?
