Re: Emotional resilience and the impact of its lack

You are doing really well I think, whilst you are feeling so terrible, you are making all the right steps. It won't change for the better quickly, but gradually. So you are going to be feeling bad for a long time. But I honestly think things are going well despite the way it feels. And I hope that t...

Re: How are things progressing Isap

I am glad you felt like writing something :) even if the news isn't good it is good that you are talking about it. It sounds like you are in a really crazy county with some silly laws from what you say it doesn't seem like the punishments fit the crimes at all. I hope everyone is quickly released fr...

Re: Amaya

Thanks :)

I had a couple of nights this week without nightmares, which gave me a chance to sort my place out. I saw W and we had a really lovely time together. And it seems my mood is doing way way better.

Still haven't had an appointment for treatment, but I am seeing the psychiatrist on Monday.

Found out last night that emails about my therapy had been hiding in my spam box for days and it was so frustrating. I went to sleep about four hours lat...

Maybe you need a different job?

Hey :) sorry to have not been around much.

What is it that stops you from starting the conversations when you go somewhere?

Re: Lost

I am not surprised that with a family like that you learnt to bottle things up! Seek out friends that will let you be you and learn to make your own family if you can. I am doing this now and it is helping me so much to be more honest about how much I struggle instead of having to pretend to be stro...

Re: How to support a partner with Mental health problems

It is good that you support his choices. But for someone with depression and anxiety and a low self esteem there is a fine line between taking the space you need for yourself, and pushing people away because you think you don't deserve their support or whatever. If I were you I would ask a few gentl...

Re: Emotional resilience and the impact of its lack

ATTMP. There is also an element of thinking too too much going on here. Just sometimes, try to forget everything your head knows about you and your process. Try to forget about yesterday. Your goals for a far off future. All the intangible things.. just let them go and breath in and out one or two t...
