Re: Depressed boyfriend has pushed me away

Hello Mr Brightside (love that song!) Just wanted to say hello and that your story is much the same as mine, I have heard nothing for weeks, had all my means of contact blocked, really don't know what to do now, just hope he remembers my birthday in a couple of weeks time ... if he doesn't , not sur...

Re: Shut out of new relationship

Thanks sirhugo. It is starting to get easier and I am having to think he might not get in touch. Having said that he will be back in Spain at some time to see his family so I hope he would at least find time to see me. It's just a waiting game I guess. I have to look back to the last meaningful mess...

Re: Depressed boyfriend has pushed me away

Thanks Lillie I think he has blocked my phone number now too as I haven't had a receipt for an sms. I feel like I have caused this now. There is no way left open to contact him. I didn't deserve this. It's 4 weeks today since he said we were over ... that day he said he would think about things, jus...

Re: Depressed boyfriend has pushed me away

James I understand how you feel and hope you can move on and be happy. These situations are dragging us down and none of us deserve it, if we were the type of people who didn't care we would have just given up and walked away but we aren't like that, we still care and we are the ones hurting. I've b...

Re: Depressed boyfriend has pushed me away

This came up on Facebook today. It might look a bit simplistic but I found myself agreeing with almost all of the points so I thought I'd post it here .....

Re: Depressed boyfriend has pushed me away

Hi Ariane I decided it wasn't a good idea. Firstly I don't have an address, I would have to turn up and try and contact him to meet me somewhere. Then there is the cost. Second in fear he might just end things completely if I did turn up and I don't want yhst to happen. I've decided to sit tight and...

Re: Depressed boyfriend has pushed me away

Writing things down is always good, it stops the thoughts running around your head constantly, well it does for me anyway. However, my advice would be to write it but don't send it straight away. You'll probably change things around over the next hours/days and if you did send it straight away might...

Re: Depressed boyfriend has pushed me away

Arwen I'm so sorry for you. From everything I am reading I am starting to think there is no clear process in this, I am sure that the sufferers will go through many stages both on the way down and on the way back up again, and maybe they need to go through a reckless stage to realise that is not rig...

Re: Problems like buses.

Hello and welcome to the forum, you will get plenty of advice and support here. I don't suffer with depression, but I was mis- diagnosed with it when I was first ill with M.E. I was reluctant to take a/d's but a friend said to me that they will correct the brain chemicals in the same way as insulin ...
