Re: Petition: Stop Postal Votes except for the Elderely & Disabled

I'd disagree. Many people don't have the time, or privilege to take time off from work, to visit a polling station, so it's a useful method to encourage people to vote. Also, bear in mind that those with certain mental illnesses (e.g. social anxiety) might be put off by polling stations, so a posta...

Re: My poem about my battle with depression

Wow, Dean. Your poem describes perfectly how it feels to live with chronic depression.

Re: Should be a better person.

I'm really sorry that happened to you! That doesn't make you a bad person at all, though. I think anyone would want to avoid a situation that reminds them of such an enormously painful thing that happened in their life. Re: New?!

Hello Dani!

I'm also new. :)

Maybe you could try keeping a pocket journal with you and making a small note whenever you start to feeling dissociated or "come to" after an episode. I don't have much experience with D.I.D. but I hope everything works out for you!

Survey on PTSD

Just saw this study on PTSD: https://www.remedyreview.com/data/data-perceptions-and-misconceptions-of-ptsd/ and was shocked when I saw the results. "Some might expect a PTSD diagnosis of a neighbor who returned from a war zone in Afghanistan, but what about the middle school girl who witnessed ...
