ESA Tribunal

Postby mattsav » Sat Jan 25, 2020 6:23 pm

Hi all,

It seems to me nowadays that the DWP don't look at unfit for work letters from Psychiarist and GP. I started on ESA in 2013 and have passed 2 tribunals until yesterday. Nothing has changed with my condition (severe depression) but the GP on the panel who looked about 70 seems to think in todays modern world a employer can make an adjustment to put no stress on you. I volunteer at a charity shop an afternoon a week.

The first 2 tribunals I got it with regulation 29 ' my mh is at risk if I am forced to work' but it seems to me very few cases are awarded with this now.

It seems to me that the DWP would rather you die than help you so they don't have to pay you anything.

Have anyone else had this treatment? looking online looks like the norm
