What’s normal?

Postby bbecca » Sat Jan 12, 2019 11:01 pm

It’s so hard to know what’s considered ‘normal’ and what isn’t.

Lately I feel like I’m on an emotional rollercoaster. I don’t know how I’m going to feel or react from one minute to the next. Sometimes I’ll have blips when I will message someone and mention all of these different things and will cry. However, when I’m not feeling as low I’ll feel stupid for doing that and as though I’m just attention seeking or something.

I know that everyone gets stressed and everyone gets anxious and everyone goes through hard times, so I don’t know if what I’m feeling is normal and I’m just overreacting or whether I need more help.

It’s absolutely exhausting.

hi, I'm new here too, never think you're over reacting if you feel that low, we are our own worst enemy's and way too hard on ourselves. some of us have family and friends to talk to (support network) some of us don't. if you feel like no one you turn to gives you emotional support that makes things worse. maybe go see your doctor and talk your feelings through with them. they will be able to shed light on your emotional well being.
