My psychiatrist didn't listen to me!

Postby nowitmakesense » Mon Dec 17, 2018 1:14 pm

My psychiatrist diagnosed me with Cyclothymia and i agreed but after getting the report back 3 weeks later its clear he wasnt listening to me. He noted i didnt do things that i did and vice versa, plus other things. Most importantly my symptoms have worsened the last few years where its been impacting my work. He said my condition has stayed the same for over 15 years and hasnt impacted my work and daily life.

Im not sure what to do.....

I have made a dr appointment for this afternoon to talk about it and maybe get a 2nd opinion.

Any thoughts anyone??

Yes do as you are doing
Trying to help and be supportive to others on this forum is one of my attempts to reduce my own depression. Getting ourselves out of our own head circles is usually a good thing to do. Maybe try it yourself
