Dear Maisi, ATTMP, Mezzanine door,
after reading the post on Withnail and I, I asked my husband. Husband, I said, is withnail and I scary, is it the sort of film I could watch?
He said it was the sort of film I could watch ( I am a sensitive soul and get upset about some films and then ruminate over the story lines---not good).
So now have a copy of Withnail and I, also have pop corn and good coffee.
Soon I will be in the loop and know what it is all about.
( sorry about punctuation or lack of it).

Maisi,
have not watched it yet - I went off on a tangent, watching a box set. Have to write it in on my calender and have another go.
good intentions though.

I am half way through Withnail and I...watching it in small doses.
All I can say so far is that it reminds me of some student digs I lived in once. Yes, we too had to go scavenging for fire wood and the bath was actually in the kitchen. Student days.
:)
