Sexuality issue

Postby blakey29-30 » Sat Jul 04, 2020 2:57 pm

Since I was born, I have been led to believe that I was straight so only interested in girls.
I have been a Christian and remain one going forward. I'm now starting to question my
Sexuality and start to wonder if I am actually Bisexual or Gay. The pressures of family, Friends
and Christian church teaching have always made me to think I was meant to be a boyfriend
to girls.

Recently, I have begun to fantasy about men and women but mostly men. I also find it more comfortable
to speak with males more than females.

If I was to be bisexual or gay, it would be nice to have some sort of group to belong to.

I would appreciate any help, support, guidance and recommendations regarding going
forward particularly in regards Bisexual and or gay Socialising groups.

Hey :)

First of all, I think it's important to say that I wouldn't get too hung up on the labels, just love who you love and that's okay!

But in the context of religion, it does become more tricky, because it can feel like you're having to weigh up which one is important to you if they can't coexist. You'll probably have an idea of how your family will react if you came out, so there's that to consider. Though remember that a lot of people do question and think about this, but many times it does come to nothing and they're happy as-is. I think the only way to really know is to actually have a relationship and see how that feels, but again, there's the backdrop of religion and family. There are LGBT+ Christian groups around, so that could be an option for you x
