Work problem

Postby neilpt13 » Wed Jan 08, 2020 7:46 pm

Hi, I've suffered with depression and anxiety for over 20 years. Im taking medication for this. I'm finding work more and more difficult. I get paranoid alot worry constantly about my performance. I've told my work and they've been ok. I'm just now at the point where I'm exhausted with being like this and I feel its affecting my performance at work. I dont think changing jobs will make any difference but I cant just not work as I've got a family to support. Anyone have any advise.

Hey Neil :)

Sorry to hear what's happened - I know you mean, not being able to work is frustrating, especially when others depend on it. I think that you can only do as much as you're able to - if your workplace is saying that that is enough, then I wouldn't worry. Remember that others are counting on you, so you need to make sure that you look after yourself and work as best you can - you can't work if you're not well! Hope things get better soon x

Much love <3
