I at time feel so compleatly alone. i have bipolar and my life is such hard work! i have two children a loving husband, people can not work out why i am like i am! i find it so hard to talk to people when i am on a hight or a down - only my family i can really talk to but that is because i put on a act all the time. it is hard feeling by my self but i am starting new meds today and hope for this hell to soon end! it is lovely just writting down what ever i feel like! have only recently found out i have bipolar so am now looking to the future with more hope as i no i can get help! my family now know why i am 'not normal' and i think it will help them having a name to the illness! i have lived with it by myself for years but am pleased to now be able to talk about it to family and write down what ever i want here! no matter how pointles or borring it may be! xx s

Being part of the black dog community has helped me feel connected. I'm not coping on my own when I am in here. :)

i'm glad you don't feel alone and i hope that talking to people on here will help you. just knowing that you're not alone can help you feel less isolated. i have heard of the black dog campaign but it's not a part of the Sane site that i use, hugs, Judith xxx
