No support

Postby pepsi22 » Fri Mar 09, 2018 3:09 pm

Really feel alone.
Received a work capability assessment form In the post and just don’t have the strength for it.
In the past I’ve researched help and support in my area to no avail..
Feel so alone and nowhere to turn...

Hi Pepsi22,

I'm sorry if I'm telling you things you already know or if the info isn't of help to you but just in case

Hub of Hope shows support services available in your area: https://hubofhope.co.uk/

Samaritans 116 123 (UK) 24/7 - despite misconceptions, you don't have to be actively suicidal to talk to them. It's not perfect but I have personally found it useful many times when I'm really low and don't know what to do

MIND (charity) guide to crisis support https://www.mind.org.uk/information-sup ... qZhOOjFI2w

Depending on your situation there may be support available to you through work (occupational health) or if you are a student there are normally support services available through your institution.

There's a lot more out there but I agree it can be hard or tiring to find!

Best of luck
