Hi Chris

As Caro says, you soon know who your real friends are when you are in need. A lot of people really grudge giving money away that is easily affordable.

I'm sure your meds will be okay. As you say you've done your research. and I imagine the dodgy ones are not too common.

God bless

Hello Caro

Thanks for your kind message. I'm sure your operation will go fine. Even people without mental illness would be worried.

Let us know how it goes

Hello Debs

The online pharmacy didn't work out. The site was genuine but their server had been hacked. One minute after making the payment, my brother in law's credit card was used for a purchase in Taiwan. His bank stopped both transactions.

Fortunately, my wife's second, emergency package has arrived so I won't need a backup.

Thanks for your concern

God bless

Hello Caro and Debs

I'm sure you know the story of Jesus in the temple. The rich Pharisees donate large amounts they can easily afford to pretend they are generous. Then a poor widow gives the smallest coin possible. Who does Jesus praise?

A lot of people are cheapskates and unfortunately some nationalities have more than others. Canadians are awful. British are in general generous. I think the Dutch give the highest amount to charity per head.

But as a general, universal truth, those with the most money are usually the most reluctant to give. l think that those who have made money their god are the best at accumulating it. The average person is more generous.

My cellmate is a cheapskate. True, he has no friends or family helping him, but makes money working as a trustee and lies about how much he makes hoping I will cough up for things we both need. Some people really have no conscience or morals.

God bless

Hi Chris

I hope all is as well with you as can be expected.

Tomorrow my husband has a colonoscopy. He's lost a lot of weight recently for no reason. He has no other symptoms but I am overly worried. And in the night my worries are extreme. It is as it is and I have to deal with it. Predicting a bad future is so unhealthy but so difficult to avoid.

I just have to carry on carrying on

God bless

Hello Debs

Hopefully the colon endoscopy will show nothing. I've had one myself. That would cause any spouse a lot of worry. I'm glad it's tomorrow and not a long wait.

God bless

Hi Chris

My husband's colonoscopy went fine thanks. He's being referred for a CT due to his weight loss. Given that he's not nauseous or off his food i think it's nothing major.

How is everything with you?

God bless

Hello Debs

Glad the checkup showed nothing malicious. That must be a great relief.

Am not too bad just now but another hearing on Monday always makes me nervous.

God bless

Chris xx
