I think some think if you are not overtly suicidal or in acute crisis, then you don't really need support. Nothing could be further from the truth. It's not always about acute situations. Living with chronic ,long term problems and the way it affects functioning and qol is every bit as or more disabling .

Ooby, Sometimes I wish I could say how I feel, but i tend to keep it inside.. a childhood trait..doomed to "present" as a pleasant person. So no support whatsoever...
Depressing isn't it? :?
