Acceptance

Postby ooby » Wed Oct 09, 2013 12:10 am

After a while there's a danger of apathetic/fatalistic acceptance. The aim is maintaining position rather than hoping for/striving for another level. Illness fatigue ?

Hi ooby,

would you please explain a bit more about what you're thinking of. I can't understand what it is in relation to, but it sounds an interesting topic.

Thank you! x

It's to do with functioning/progress mentally. I made a leap over 30 years ago but have been stuck at a level ever since.

Sorry to hear you feel stuck in the same place for so long.Life can seem such a struggle at times.I have found praising myself for the tiniest steps helps.

I think i know how you feel: sometimes it would just be such a relief to stop and say "This is where I am right now, I don't feel able to move forward but I need help to stay where I am."
Unfortunately, everything is geared towards moving forward - you have to have a goal and some way of reaching it, hugs xxx
