I think you can win this one Lou not him.
You were not rude to him first so did not cause this problem.
Please do not punch the wall. You will hurt yourself for a start.
How about punch the pillow?
If they can give you something to calm you please let them.
When you feel better you can write down what happened and complain calmly and politely to the ward manager. Maybe best to wait until the morning?
If you want help to write up your account people on here will help you.
This nurse is accountable for his actions and you have a right to have your say too.
He will only get his kick if he pushes to deal with it how you say you often do.
I can only imagine how hard this is for you.
Please don't let him win.

Rest now Lou.
It's the anger which gets in the way.
You are not stupid.

The nursing staff can be really provocative... I've met quite a few like that :(.
Sorry to read how much he upset you. You really don't need this at the moment.

I can only agree to what belle has said in her posts this evening. After you've calmed down or probably tomorrow (as it's late) you can sort this out.

Please look out for yourself! I'm thinking of you!

Please don't hurt yourself. Have you tried punching a pillow or the mattress of your bed? It's actually quite effective...

I know you're really mad. Have you had any meds to help you calm down?

I'm thinking of you, Lou!!! We're here and listening.

They're trying to keep you safe, Lou, which is why they aren't leaving you on your own at the moment.
