OK.
Maybe give yourself some more time to calm down and then talk to the lady nurse again?
I can understand in my own way because when I get angry things don't come out right - I shout, I cry, I swear, I do/say all sorts of things I shouldn't but it will settle I promise.
You are not stupid because you can't put your side over.
You are angry and upset so it's no wonder you can't talk atm.
That does not make you stupid. I think it is normal for someone who is unwell.
Why not show her your post on here about what happened?
You can get through this Lou - yes?

Just because .....
I don't know any more than you do.
Bad mood, gets a kick out of winding up vulnerable people, doesn't like being on your ward, personality clash, boss on his case, tooth ache...
I'm not being flippant. Who knows Lou.
I do question why people who behave in an 'unsupportive way' in a hospital of any kind are choosing to do the job they are doing.
The government are going on about the patient being at the heart of treatment and care, and some nurses and doctors will be getting wake up calls pretty soon - maybe not soon enough for you today.
He has probably gone off to the other ward and forgotten all about it, but for you it has huge consequences. It has really upset you, made you angry and it's not fair.
Please speak to the nurse and/or ward manager when you feel calm.
Or write down how you feel so you can control how it comes out.
This nurse could set you back and that is not right.
Stay strong please Lou.

I think you can win this one Lou not him.
You were not rude to him first so did not cause this problem.
Please do not punch the wall. You will hurt yourself for a start.
How about punch the pillow?
If they can give you something to calm you please let them.
When you feel better you can write down what happened and complain calmly and politely to the ward manager. Maybe best to wait until the morning?
If you want help to write up your account people on here will help you.
This nurse is accountable for his actions and you have a right to have your say too.
He will only get his kick if he pushes to deal with it how you say you often do.
I can only imagine how hard this is for you.
Please don't let him win.

Rest now Lou.
It's the anger which gets in the way.
You are not stupid.
