rj I'm so sorry.
This isn't something I know anything about.
It does seem a long time to wait for your mum.
There will be people on here who can help.
We are here for you.

i would say that they want to see what's happening in her breast and that means leaving some time in between mammograms. remember it doesn't mean that there is cancer - what they've found could be nothing to do with cancer at all. if they were worried about it, they'd be checking it sooner, so please don't worry. go out for another walk with your mum and Maddie this evening and enjoy it, hugs, Judith xxx

half of all women over the age of 50 have calcification in their breast tissue, so it may be nothing at all to worry about, but at least they are checking it out properly.

your CPN is coming round today, isn't she? do you think she would take a photo of you, your mum and Maddie together so that you've got something to remember the three of you together if times get difficult? hugs, Judith xxx

Sorry to hear this RJ. As others have said, it might be nothing, so keep enjoying your time with mum, which will also be a good distraction for her. The weather is so nice so have you anything planned for the weekend?
