New coat probllems

Postby ooby » Thu Nov 21, 2013 11:26 am

Big coat. Should be just right for the autumn/winter months if only i could zip it up but it takes me 50-60 tries each time! I end up getting frustrated and stressed and want to scream.
Fancy having difficulty zipping something up. How effing stupid. I'm an idiot.
Waste of over £50.

You can buy special grippers to help fasten zips for people who struggle eg if they have Parkinsons. I'm sure you will find something on the internet if you search.

I think you can fix it on and slip the coat over your head because I know with Parkinsons you can have hand shake which makes it almost impossible to align the zip. Hope you can find something to get good use out of the coat.

I think it will have to be that way. When i laid it flat on the bed it was easier to zip up. It's not something i'm going to be able to go somewhere take it off and easily zip up again. Unless there are beds available.to lay it flat on.

I could i suppose if i knew where to go, but the problem is lining the sliders up to let the zipper do up rather than the zip being faulty..
If i was more manually dexterous it probably wouldn't be a problem.

Ooby have the same problem with one of my coats too, the only things is once I get the 2 ends aligned and zipped up, they bust open when I sit down.
Think its a crappy zip myself but it really annoys me too, can you take it back at all or have you had this for a while?
