Seriously? It sounds like one of those bonkers 80's classics, can't believe I don't know it, shall I google it or are you going to tell me.

Aha, by aliens (googled it). But how the hell has this passed me by? Search results included 'upcoming' showings at cinemas 'near' me, so you never know... brilliant.

Al Pacino: Shut up Ralph! Siddown!!

I loved that film when I was a lad, always hated control of any sort so it suited me fine.

I'm struggling with yours. Was it a gritty, big-screen, version of Happy Days directed by David Cronenberg? Al Pacino is The Fonz! Co-staring Willem Dafoe as Richie, Jeremy Irons as Potsie and Tilda Swinton as Ralph, the baby-faced mafia hitman.

That works  he is the Fonz, I never realised. Don't tell anyone, and crowdfund a screenplay quick.

it's a touching bromance about 2 guys from different sides of the tracks who agree they will 'put you down' without hesitation. Self important heist film, Val Kilmer..

You know what they're looking at? Us, L-A-P-D, we just got played.

Anyway sod that, will look into They Live

Spinal Tap :)

Nigel Tufnel: The numbers all go to eleven. Look, right across the board, eleven, eleven, eleven and...

Marty DiBergi: Oh, I see. And most amps go up to ten?

Nigel Tufnel: Exactly.

Marty DiBergi: Does that mean it's louder? Is it any louder?

Nigel Tufnel: Well, it's one louder, isn't it? It's not ten. You see, most blokes, you know, will be playing at ten. You're on ten here, all the way up, all the way up, all the way up, you're on ten on your guitar. Where can you go from there? Where?

Marty DiBergi: I don't know.

Nigel Tufnel: Nowhere. Exactly. What we do is, if we need that extra push over the cliff, you know what we do?

Marty DiBergi: Put it up to eleven.

Nigel Tufnel: Eleven. Exactly. One louder.

Marty DiBergi: Why don't you just make ten louder and make ten be the top number and make that a little louder?

Nigel Tufnel: [pause] These go to eleven.
