New breed of spider

Postby painkillerv3 » Fri May 03, 2013 1:05 pm

Never seen anything like it inside a home or outside a collection. Did not get a good chance to look at it zippy as hell moves like a lightning bolt and with a bit of a temper even for a spiderling (baby) . See it for a few seconds when it stood still, defiantly did not look like any common house spider. Had a slight appearance of lycosa raptoria they must be living in my loft or something I know there was a sac about but this is the 1st sight I have seen of it, exciting but boy can that shift.

salticidae sp beautiful in motion and for a tiny thing has alot of power in those little legs I have a frame by frame somewhere of one jumping to attack a wasp mid flight. I dont have a salticidae species but I do have avicularia species that can jump further than a jumping spider aka the one that made housing officer hide ^_^
Just a few i already had uploaded of avicularia

I thought I would be nice and not kill the brown recluse in my laundry room (didn't know at the time it was a brown recluse) so anyway she hung around with me while doing the laundry for a few days and darn if she didn't have a litter of babies, and guess what ? one finally bit me lol had to go to emergency room, anyway she disappeared with all the kids, probably doesn't even know who the father is:)

I love spiders! I actually bought a customised phone case with one of those beautiful jumping spider pictures on :)

My favourite used to be the Cobalt Blue Tarantula but since hearing about Bagheera Kiplingi and seeing the cute photos, that's become my fave now!

I don't have any as pets because I don't believe in buying animals from pet shops, but if there was one that needed adopting then I'd happily do so.

Spiders scare me a lot. I do not mind the daddy long legs but hairy ones freak me out.

Some spiders can't help being hairy... and I think it'd be too difficult for them to shave, they don't make razors that small!!
