Thank you.

Today I went out for afternoon tea with a friend. It was a Christmas gift.

As well as being a lovely was good because I had to make the reservation..

and also got me out of the house.

I spent time on my appearance, and I realised that I was nervous with excited

anticipation, instead of my usual panicky, stressed way.

I didn't get overwhelmed, or feel disorientated and panic.

I just had a good time. :)

After a very "flat" time I got a phone call from my "Mind mentor",Glenn, to attend a cookery session last wednesday. I accepted instead of doing my usual and passing. Actually enjoyed it, ate what I`d "concocted" and since then have made myself go somewhere every day. I got blisters on my foot but am feeling a lot better mentally. Love`n`Hugs to All that need them today xxx Jim.

Today has been a good day.

Besides signing up here (hi!) I've done stuff with the kids, not been too stressed/down to cope with it.

My partner has also been ok today (some days can be tough if I'm pulling the sled and *everyone* else is on it).

I've done some cooking (even made biscuits).

So not a bad day at all.

Today has been good so far, I'm mostly proud of myself because I actually managed to go for a run this morning!

Nothing else planned today which is a great feeling... Going to watch some cheesy TV later and drink lots of tea.

AND I'm going to the paralympics tomorrow :D

So, pretty good all in all...

Hope everyone else is having a good day :)

Today has been a good day. I've got the week off work (annual leave).

I've walked into town and back to get my haircut which I normally do myself. You can't normally go wrong with a buzzcut but as I'm being filmed for TV on Wednesday I thought I had better make the effort.

I should have spent the afternoon revising for Mastermind. I haven't. I've had a nice long nap and watched catch up TV. My tea is already cooked as I did a double amount of pasta last night.

Tomorrow will feature more of the same but with added wargaming in the evening.

My greyhound is helping me to diet and lose weight....

Today while I was at the front door taking a delivery of the dreaded powdery milk slim fast stuff, she was busy in the living room snaffling down the bacon sandwich I had just made for breakfast.

Oh, the irony... it hurts!

Today I'm feeling optimistic really :)

I went to see a friend from church and I feel so much stronger now. She gave me some advice - to every day write down three positive things, and that's what I'm going to do.

I went on a little ride on my bike. It's one of those old fashioned sit-up-and-beg bikes, and even though it's about -2 degrees and there's snow everywhere, and my legs feel a bit wobbly now, it felt so good!

Love, hope and positive vibes to you all x

I took this morning slow, just washing, but then got tired. I was tempted to just go back to bed. Instead I dusted myself off and went out to see my horse and muck out. Ended up doing a good couple of hours work on the yard / stable and enjoying some time with my horse. Just the two of us no one else there, peaceful and heartwarming. I didn't ride, that will be for another day, today was just for going easy. :)
