Re: How are things progressing Isap

Just checking in to say hello.
I hope the anxiety has subsided now. A spell of uncontrollable anxiety is exhausting.
Thinking of you. Xx

Re: How are things progressing Isap

Hello Isap I think that sounds like a good plan for the tramadol. Anything to help you get through the day. I know you are responsible with your meds too. It's all about making informed choices. I take 300mg xr quetiapine. It has to be extended release, as the ordinary one is far too sedating for me...

Re: How are things progressing Isap

Hello Isap Sorry you are unwell. I hope it is just a 24 hour bug. To answer your tramadol questions. I am prescribed up to eight 50 mg tablets per day. , but the most I have taken is 6. I have never taken more than two at a time ( 100 mg ) ,leaving a four hour gap between doses. The longest I have t...

Re: How are things progressing Isap

Hello Isap and Debs. Sorry i don't have much to add, other than I empathise and agree with everything you have written re meds and mental health workers solutions. I am on a lot of meds, and don't want to come off any of them anytime soon. They keep me relatively sane, and safe, but are not a cure. ...

Re: How are things progressing Isap

Hello Isap and Debs Just to add, it is lamictal ( lamotrigine) that i take too. I had zero side effects, and found that it stabilised my mood almost instantly. I don't have bipolar, but am prone to terrible drops in mood. It's not a cure sadly, but i feel more in control on it. I hope the hearing go...

Re: How are things progressing Isap

Hello Isap I checked , and nausea is a common side effect of venlaflaxine. Hopefully it will be temporary for you. At least the British prison doctor is up to date with things. It is sad that so many doctors lack compassion though. I find it much harder to trust cold people, no matter what their job...

Re: How are things progressing Isap

Hello Isap I am pleased you feel confident with the psychiatrist. Having that trust there is important. I find Tramadol helps with my pain, but also lifts my mood. Apparently it is similar to antidepressants in its make up. I have never felt addicted to it, going many days without it, then starting ...

Re: How are things progressing Isap

Hello Isap I don't think anything i have gone through matches the awful things that you are dealing with. I have no idea how you get through each day. That really is inspirational. I take tramadol 4 times daily when I have a fibromyalgia flare. It does help, but i am careful with my intake because o...

Re: How are things progressing Isap

Hello Isap Yes constipation is a common side effect. It wasn't a major problem for me, and no where near as bad as when I have to take tramadol (I have fibromyalgia). I had to stop taking venlafaxine because it gave me terrible problems with my monthly cycle. It worked very well for my high anxiety ...

Re: How are things progressing Isap

Hello Isap

I just wanted you to know that I am reading your posts, and praying for you.
Debs does a fantastic job with her replies. I often want to post more, but find the right words tricky.
I did well on venlafaxine. I pray it helps you too

Thinking of you xx
