Re: Not wanting to live.... but not wanting to die.

Hi Em Well done on making that call about work - you are definitely very aware of what increases your depression, great insight. It takes courage to act on it too so well done. I can’t believe she didn’t turn up – very annoying (and rude) but the outcome is good. Fingers crossed you don’t have to pa...

Re: Not wanting to live.... but not wanting to die.

Hi It definitely is better that you found out now that it wasn’t going to work, getting any further in would have been distressing. The right person is out there waiting to meet his soul mate which is you, its just finding him! The shift in your thinking is brilliant and impressive around your ex-jo...

Re: Not wanting to live.... but not wanting to die.

Hi I’m really sorry about the boyfriend and I totally understand not wanting to talk about it. I can so relate to you when you said about ‘you are…..’ – I have many of those traits too and its makes relationships a lot harder. Shame we can’t reprogramme ourselves! Your boss isn’t the most diplomatic...

Re: Not wanting to live.... but not wanting to die.

Morning Em What came across very clear in your last post (in my opinion) is that moving in with your boyfriend ticks the most boxes. He really cares about you, his parents are really nice plus you can adopt a Nan - perfect. I lost mine many years ago and I still see her as the best person ever - eve...

Re: Not wanting to live.... but not wanting to die.

Hi Wow, you have a lot going on. The thing that really comes through in your posts is that you want/need change, on one scale or another. That's a good thing (I'm terrified of it and avoid it at all costs). I hope your landlady can come up with something - you definitely can't live there for that le...

Re: Not wanting to live.... but not wanting to die.

Hi Em Great to hear from you but sorry you're in a crappy place. Is the plan to move back home or are you avoiding that? I’m sorry you’re feeling so unfulfilled – that will definitely add to the awful depression. I can also hear some frustration that after a lot of psychological input, your core sel...

Re: Lack of money =many problems/stresses

I understand that you want certain things that you don't have but you need to start somewhere realistic. Do you have professional mental health support? Do you go to the jobcentre and look for jobs that you could do to keep you going? Any job is better than none. We all have dreams and that is great...

Re: Lack of money =many problems/stresses

Hi

Are you under any sort of mental health support? A decent GP?

Re: Suffocating

Hi

I'm so sorry that you've had to go through so much and that its still going on.

Would he let you go to a GP? Maybe you could go and ask them for advice - they must be able to signpost you to an organisation who can get you help?

Re: Tough period/ refusal from night shelter

Sounds like you're having a really difficult time at the moment. On the job front - are you prepared to take any job, not just driving or something mathematical, just to get some income flowing? I know jobs are limited in general but if you're prepared to take anything then its better than nothing. ...
