Re: Not wanting to live.... but not wanting to die.

Hi Great to hear from you. Glad work is going ok but such a shame about the bitchy staff. I don't understand people who are like that, I really don't It takes so much energy and negative energy at that. You've done so well to keep going through it, i rhink I would have bailed. I admire your strength...

Re: Not wanting to live.... but not wanting to die.

Hi Em I was starting to worry about you - are you OK? Things are all a bit too much at my end. Having work done on the house and because whoever had it years ago did major botch jobs, we're now finding all sorts of stuff wrong with it. Having problems with my partner as well - its all too much. I wa...

Re: Become poker players/other professions+increasing washing

You need a plan of how you'll get a 'normal' job. Are you looking at recruitment agency websites? What about the jobcentre website https://www.gov.uk/find-a-job? This is where you have more chance of getting a job of some sort and with it some stability. Once you have that, have regular income comin...

Re: Become poker players/other professions+increasing washing

I don't think you're being realistic about a career. I know yo want lots of money (as do most people) but you need to get a job, a normal job, first and then progress. Try to get a job that is local to you, say in a shop, factory etc, anything that gives you an income of some sort. You can look for ...

Trig - had enough of being a no-one

Hi my self-esteem has always been crap and I'm now at rock-bottom. My job disappeared when COVID hit - I'm extremely lucky that I still have a job and work from home but I have no role anymore so I add no value. My mental health is awful and my manager is doing her best to protect me from being put ...

Re: Emotional resilience and the impact of its lack

Hi Glad the counselling went OK and its amazing how you've started to notice the impact of the self-bullying narrative. Improvement indeed. I wish I could get to that stage - I'm a nasty self-bully and I know I'm doing it and I know its the worse thing I can do for myself but I still do it. Its good...

Re: Not wanting to live.... but not wanting to die.

Hi I am sorry things went they the way they did and after such a lovely day last week – makes it feel worse doesn’t it? I have a couple of friends who still say things like ‘close your ears’ or even apologise when they’ve sworn or said something rude and I think its because I don’t tend to do either...

Re: car and insurance

Hi

You definitely need to get car insurance so please do. Its against the law and can affect others badly if you end up in an accident.
