Re: Some dreams I don't even want to come true :( poss trig

I think you need to ask your grandparents to stop hassling you about this: explain that until you get the right dose sorted out, you're not fit for work. Tell them that while the meds stop the problem getting worse, you won't start to get better until you're on the right dose, but this has to be don...

Re: my dad is dying

being tired and confused sounds quite normal. staying in bed helps to remove you from stress, so don't put yourself down. however, don't shut yourself away completely: try to get up for a little while each day. When I feel bad, one of the things I try to do is to get up (even if I'm not dressed) and...

Re: Feel so alone...:( poss trig

Some employers really are dreadful when it comes to illness. I'm glad you've been diagnosed properly now so that you can get your thyroxine levels back to an optimum level. If possible, try to see the same doctor from now on: if you have an ongoing condition, locums may be unwilling to alter your me...

Re: Anxiety/panic and eating

Are you registered with a GP? It would be a good idea to see your doctor and explain your feelings: keeping a diary about your feelings is a good way of helping you both to understand what's happening. If you are a member of a union then you might be able to get access to counselling, hugs Judith xxx

Well done - I think that's the right decision. He has hurt you badly and you have the rest of your life in front of you. Writing to him gives you closure but without hurting yourself further, hugs judith xxx

Re: my dad is dying

What does your mum say? As i say, you don't "have" to do anything, but you might wish in years to come that you'd made your peace with him. Why not write to him, explaining that you're sorry he's ill and asking him if he would want you to come to see him? hugs, Judith xxx

Re: my dad is dying

oh my dear, that must be so confusing for you: on the one hand you have all these bad memories, but on the other hand he is your Dad. You don't have to do anything that you don't want to, you don't have to see him if you don't want to. Try to remember though, that your mum might be upset - after all...
