Re: Uplifting songs

Happy new year to you too ATTMP :D I love that song too! It has made me feel different ways over the years - sometimes calm and relaxed, sometimes doing a little dance while doing the washing up - and sometimes really upset. I remember a time I was just crying and crying listening to that song - lik...

Re: Info help for family therapy please

Hello lucym, Sounds brilliant, guess its not surprising not everyone wants to take part, its a big step. hope your sister comes round. its hard to bring up stuff and talk about it, so there may be a lot behind her reasons... Hope tapering off the current AD is going ok. Yes I did mean revisit ones that had worked before - feels like you have...

Re: Severe depression

Hi George, welcome to the forum, it can be a bit quiet on here but people are generally really lovely. So sorry to hear how you're doing and that you're not feeling heard by the team who are meant to be supporting you... The medication should not make things worse.... it can be difficult to find one...

Re: Swimming for therapy

yes it is not exactly social... but I find practising with a group of people different from doing yoga at home on my home with a youtube video: I found something nurturing in the experience of being with others and having a communal experience. think it also helps me be 'in' my body rather than in m...

Re: Mental health help needed

Hi taio welcome to the forum, how are you doing today? Have you talked to anyone offline about how you're feeling? I'm not very good at it myself (don't want to worry my family etc. but they would want to know and may be able to help and holding all that emotion inside does make it worse) Or come ba...
