Re: Just found you

Hi dizzymisslizzy, welcom to forum, used to live by the coast many years ago. Found sitting in a cafe by beach when the weather bad and lots of white water and rough sea was very stress relieving. Mental health services don't seem to be what they were years ago. Was admitted for only relatively anxi...

Re: Advice please, content may trigger some people

Hello and welcome to the forum. I am wondering what your gp has said about these repeated refusals to offer help? There is a service called PALS, not sure if they are part of NHS or not, i just googled the local one to me and they seem to deal with complaints about nhs treatment. My elder daughter h...

Re: How are things progressing Isap

Hi Chris, thank you for your rely. I can't fathom out why my pychiatrist said he would not be seeing him me again since i was breaking down in tears twice during the consultation, which i have never done before and told him that there had been an increase in my fantasies involving suicide and self h...

Hello xff34, welcome to the forum. I truly feel for you, your post almost brought me to tears, this must be a frightening illness to have. Are you under a mental health team, see a pychiatric nurse or pychiatrist? I am presuming you are and if not your illness sounds serious enough that i would thin...

Re: Does anyone else ever think like this.

Glad i could be of some help, docs can be scary. What might be a good idea is to wright out all your symptoms on a sheet of paper as there are so many, take it with you to the docs and pass it to him to read. All the best, let us know how you get on, Aisling.
