Re: How are things progressing Isap

Hi Chris I'm sorry for this late reply. Part of it is my husband going for a colonoscopy on Wednesday which they couldn't do in the end. Without going into details it was our mistake. I think I used the right word. Checking out his colon. You seem to be going through big changes in your meds. Change...

Re: How are things progressing Isap

Hi Chris It's probably a Saints day. A week is a long time in Mental illness. I have to sign an extra box now for my pregabalin as it's becoming widely abused. When I was in the shop today I told a custome i know r that I was on pregabalin. At that word she told me of all sorts of awful things that ...

Re: How are things progressing Isap

Hi Chris

I'm sorry the tramadol isn't working just as well but that's good you're getting relief from the headaches and constipation.

Once one tablet comes out like that more will follow. I think it's the most optimistic step since the advent of SSRIs.

God bless

Re: How are things progressing Isap

Hi Chris I saw a doctor today who increased the pregabalin to 600mg. I haven't seen this doctor before and she seems reasonably good. (There's a big problem in Britain with GPs. No one wants to be one anymore and some surgeries run on locums). Anyway I hope this gets me back to an okay level. Yes. B...

Re: Hi Aisling

Hi Aisling A very nice name. I am sorry to hear of your problems. It must be very worrying. Although things will work out you are bound to worry. Depression is such a terrible illness as you know. We end up in situations that few other people would. I have managed to get an appt at the doctors this ...

Re: How are things progressing Isap

Hi Chris

Yes. I think raising the pregabalin might help, even if just short term.

God bless

Re: How are things progressing Isap

Hi Isap How are you Tbh I am pretty bad. About 5 weeks ago the pregabalin let me down. Since then I've had some especially bad days. This morning I just wanted to stop fighting. To no longer do my charity shop work and just stay in. I've changed my mind. The effects would be very bad. I haven't said...

Re: Emotional resilience and the impact of its lack

Hi andthistoo

I found person centred counseling very helpful. It really helped me find my real voice and find my true feelings

Best wishes
