For anyone to undergo such an experience is awful. With mental health problems it takes a lot longer to get over. Maybe talk to your doctor. I have found writing a diary can be quite helpful. I think it's true that the idea of keeping a journal is good. That's what I do now. I haven't written in it for a number of weeks but I know I'll go back to it when the time is right.
