Returning to work.

Hi folks.. I need to make up my mind fairly fast on this one... Do I want to jump right back into my old hours and responsibilities or should go back on a phased returned? I'm torn between the two, but then i've never been the most decisive person  There are pros and cons with both..and I was j...

Re: I don't know how to feel.

My brother is on a very high secure ward. I still don't know how to feel about that...I mean, sure his apperance and behaviour can appear very strange..but he hasn't actually done anything wrong. My Dad brought him over to visit my new house on Sunday..even though he was not allowed out. It will be ...

Re: I cant go to work today TRIG

It totally understandable that you couldn't sleep well last night, and I'm sure most people in the same situation would feel anxious too. Re: I don't know how to feel.

My brother was sectioned again yesterday...he keeps being put in so many different hospitals..which must be unsettling and we have to get used to a whole new set of rules/visiting times ect. I wanted to visit him today, but may have to wait until tomorrow, because I need to work out where is first ;...

Re: I'm just so tired.

Thank you for taking the time to reply. When i'm not depressed I am lucky in that I don't have any sleeping problems. Previously when i've been depressed I have overslept..literally for days..this did not seem to cause me any harm, but it did cause a lot of worry for those around me. This time..the ...

I'm just so tired.

Hi folks...my depression is making it a struggle to do things...but the main thing is i'm just so rediculously tired. I think maybe i'm too busy dreaming at night, to get much proper sleep. Does anyone have any tips on how I can get some decent sleep and my body-clock back on track, thanks.

Re: Mental health sufferer as a carer?

It sounds like you and your wife make a great team :) I would definately recommend getting a carer's assessment done..I put it off for a long time..because it sounded so official and scary  But it wasn't scary at all and really helped me realise that I was a bona fide carer for my brother. I h...
