Re: lonely and hurting

I'm pretty sure that you would be able to withdraw your consent for the information sharing. You will need to ask for your form to be amended, but I would image it would be quick and easy for them to do this. I was very depressed at uni...and I came so close to quitting in my final year. In the end ...

Re: Returning to work.

Thanks guys...I feel much happier about going back to work, knowing I have support on here. My manager seems fine with my suggested work schedule and I think work are aware that I must not try to do too much, too soon...or I will be off on sick leave again. I'm actually quite happy/excited about sta...

The doctor suggested that I take another four months off work, before even considering going back...based on the dose of my antideppre...

Re: I cant go to work today TRIG

Hello, how are things? I hope you are settling into your new area now. Are things a bit less rowdy now the students have started getting on with their studies? Is your Dad or anyone else in your family being a bit more supportive? Sorry about all the questions, you don't have to answer. I just hope ...

Brother's eh? Still if you can't rely on yourself or your family to make you breakfast in bed..maybe you could get a Wake 'n' Bacon alarm clock?

Re: Returning to work.

Thanks for the replies...i'm leaning towards the phased return...otherwise there is a real risk i'll be an emotional wreck by the end of Monday. I'm dreading my return to work interview, but i'll cross that bridge when I come to it. First I have to go see a new Dr tomorrow, and see if they think i'm...

Re: What to do if family doesn't agree on a course of action

Glad it helped, I wish I could say it gets easier..but i've found it to be more of an acceptance :) Don't try and manage on your own. Try and get talking to a mental health team, don't be scared to ask questions..don't let anyone fob you off. If your mum is having a psychotic episode..and you...

Re: What to do if family doesn't agree on a course of action

Hi, it sounds like you are doing the right thing by setting some boundries and putting your child's welfare first. It is a tricky situation, because as well as trying to deal with your Mother's illness..there is a risk of falling out and upsetting family members. Yes the five hour delusional, aggres...

Re: Does anyone else do this?

Hi, i'm sure that picking and eating skin is quite common..I used to do it quite a lot without even realizing and biting my finger-nails too, but now i've moved on to picking spots instead..especially when i'm stressed. So I guess it could be an anxiety thing, picking scabs a simple childhood joy, t...
