Re: Friend with mental health/suicidal thoughts

Welcome to the forum.

Would it be possible for your partner to convince his work colleague that he urgently needs help? He then needs to be assessed ideally having visited his GP. Failing that please call Mind for help and advice.

Take care

Re: Our 12yo daughter

Hi Richardaylin, Thank you for taking the time to reply. For me your recent post is reassuring, whilst the counselling session with CAHMS did not go the way you were hoping, it's a start. The councillor should know that the first step is to build trust without creating pressure to ascertain what is ...

Re: Depression leading to financial difficulty or financial difficulty leading to depression

Dear heleni,

Would you have a friend that would be prepared to give you some support? I'm wondering if there are any charitable organisations that would be prepared to help you?

Take care

Re: Son moving out

Hi Jem,

Welcome to the forum.
So sorry to hear you are having a rough time.
Is there someone you can talk to about this?
Are you receiving any counselling, as this might help you.
[I've intentionally not included any suggestions, as you no doubt have considered these already]

Take care...

Re: Fear of Relationships

Thanks niamh90, I completely agree with your suggestion, receiving some counselling would seemingly provide the most appropriate means of relief. Of course, it is always so useful when someone is able to bring personal or similar experience to a persons post, along with a positive outcome. One of th...
