Re: Am I losing my mind?

okay so posted this to get it out of my head, i wasn't asking for help as such, just a way of venting my frustration of how i am feeling, maybe its a combination of getting old i don't know, but depression really does muck up the mind. I seem sooooo forgetful from little things to trying to get my h...

Re: How do I support my husband?

wow that sounds very stressful, does he have any HR support at work to help him and make all his options available. He needs to try and stay calm even though he must be very worried. If he explains how he is feeling to work it might help them understand and maybe take it in account. As his partner y...

Re: Protecting child from depressed husband's anger

This is very close to home, I suffered with depression and anxiety for a number of years and when my wife and I had a child it got much worse. I was exactly as you described your husband was. We spilt up for the sake of our son, it was incredibly sad. As much as she would try and talk to me nothing ...

Re: Challenging negative thoughts

maybe negative thoughts are not always a bad thing. I have them and I guess they level you out, I have never been someone to have 100% positive OTT outlook on life (thats the sort of draining person I keep away from) maybe you/we need to just try and have at least one positive thought per day and no...

So I do feel that I am slowly losing my mind and my ability to function properly. I think years of depression and anxiety have maybe zapped a few hundred brain cells and I am struggling with the basics and things are making me worry about everything and anything, its effecting my job that i really n...
