Re: Hello

I would love to join a sporting group such as run group but my social.anxiety is stopping me. I was very much like you, in the end I forced myself to go. My thoughts were, that if no one talked to me then I would just run on my own. I made up my mind before hand, that I would continue to go each we...

Re: I'm new and need therapy

Do you want to share a bit of what is troubling you. Open forums may not be ideal, but you are anonymous.

I think there is always hope, and often we find a purpose in life when we help others.

Hi andertyr;

What is making you feel this way, is it something recent, or does it go back a long time?

There is always hope,

Re: So Many Things Could Go Wrong...

This virus just keeps reducing all our options, and video calls can't replace a hug. But if that is the most we are able to do, then somehow we can still try and live at peace with ourselves and those we love and care for. I hope you can come through this and still be the kind and caring person that...

Re: So Many Things Could Go Wrong...

Sadly there are so many things in life that we have no control over. I only knew one of my grandfathers, and he died when I was thirteen, there was nothing I could have done about it. My wife went in for an operation on her back last November, it was cancelled six times, and there was nothing we cou...

Re: Being the weird one

When you do the maths, we have two ears and one mouth, so it would be nice to think that some people will listen twice as much as they speak.

Re: Tw suicidal

It sounds like you want the pain to stop, but you don't know how to stop the pain. Can you say any more about What triggers these thoughts thoughts in the first place?

Take care, we all love you and would not like to hear that you have given up.

Re: Hi

I watched my mum suffer with ms for about the last thirty years of her life, she was the strongest and kindest person I will ever know. People who knew her still talk kindly about her, nearly twenty years after she passed away. She was paralysed from the neck down for about the last fifteen years, s...

Re: Unhappy for no reason

I remind myself of what has been said throughout the day today and hope things start to get better for me. Hi dno This is a quote I like. Destiny Douglas C Hess Watch Your Thoughts, For They Become Words, Choose Your Words, For They Become Actions, Understand Your Actions, For They Become Habits. S...
