Re: Numb

Hi Sapphire, Thank you for sharing your experience. I don't have much to offer in terms of advice but some support as I feel the same way a lot of the time, I don't think so much that I have a personality I just exist. But at the same time we are on here venting so we're moving forward! Best wishes x

Bake Off

Don't know how everyone is liking the new format but I still love bake off, it's such a nice hour of people being nice to others over low-stake things

Feeling at sea

Hi, Recently went back to uni and it was going well for the first two weeks, but now its sort of dipped back down. Doing well in work paradoxically but my mood has gone back down to its lowest point and I feel really out of control of everything. Everything is slipping and I don't have the energy to...

Re: My experience and your feedback please

Hi,

It is always really hard changing medication especially when they're meant to help but they don't seem to be in the meantime.

I really hope that you start seeing improvements soon and that you can come back to this forum with some good news. Remember its always here to vent to.

Best wishes x

Re: Lonely and losing will to live

Hi, I'm sorry that you're suffering so much at the moment. It sounds like you are doing everything right though at the moment, as in pushing yourself and meeting new people. I think maybe instead of CBT you could look into counselling. In my experience counselling is always about you just having a c...

Re: Hello, I'm new

Hi, sorry to hear that you've been dealing with this for so long. I'm glad though that you've joined this forum so hopefully people can help or just give support. What sort of support are you getting at the moment? Do you have any talking therapy? I hope you are getting some kind of support from som...

Re: Back again!

Hi tofler, would like to just say thanks for the help you offered the other day when I was talking about going back to uni. I'm back now and although there have been some down days over this first week, overall it's looking more positive. I'm wishing you all the best with your aims of getting over t...

Re: Feeling lost

Hi, sorry to hear you're feeling like this. It's always hard when you had this secure future in mind and it's taking a little detour at the moment. Like others have said, I would suggest going and talking to your GP about how you're feeling at the moment. At the moment try remember that your boss is...

Re: Accepting that i wont find a girlfriend.

Hi, I'm glad you found this space to rant, it's important to get this all out. Also I wouldn't feel guilty over wanting a partner - almost all of us do and we're human after all. Yes you may not be starving, and you're thankful for that, but what you're feeling is legitimate. When you've accepted yo...

Re: Going back to university

Hi, thank you both! I really resonate with both your comments about being mentally prepared and sticking to self care. It's true too that my recovery may have 'blips' but that doesn't mean I'm going downhill, and it's really important to hear that, thank you. Also tofler I am into mindfulness, it's ...
