Re: Bullying at work causing anxiety

Hi I had exactly the same thing in a job. I left but I regret doing so. If I had my time over I would fight back. I know you have nobody to report this to, so if I were you I'd go to my local Citizens Advice Bureau and find out what my options are. What's the worst that could happen? You could end u...

Re: becoming homeless by choice need advice please

If I were you I would make an appointment with an Adviser at your local Citizens Advice Bureau and talk to them about your circumstances. They can point out ways you can be helped, if only by putting you in touch with your local food bank!

Best of luck

Re: Guy I am dating with multiple issues

It's a guy thing. I used to be just the same. For one thing he doesn't want to risk your relationship by letting you see him at his worst and he probably just needs some time to think and sort himself out. Men are like elastic bands, sometimes we need to pull away,'get some space', sometimes called ...

NHS Apps

Did you know there are Apps you can get from the nhs app store (search for 'nhs app store') that are intended to help people with mental health problems? Have you tried any, if so, which ones and did they help?

Re: My story is too long

Hi

I strongly suggest that you visit your local Citizens Advice Bureau (or at least telephone them) and tell the full story to them. They will explain your options and help you to do what you need to. Take any paperwork you have with you. It's all completely confidential.

Best of luck

Re: Cabin fever

A few years ago I suffered with anxiety so badly I couldn't leave the house alone. I had to give up my job and I gave up on living. I spent months just sitting, trying to sleep, so I could escape thinking. It didn't work. It took meds and stubbornness to bring me around. I was told to do puzzles too...

Re: Bad time

Hi Up

I'm new too and suffer from the same. My advice is to scout around the forum and look at other posts, see what others say and what might help you. It may help you to contribute too.

Also, be patient in waiting for replies to your post as it takes a while for things to circulate.

Welcome!

Re: How do you cope with this

Hi Just one thought at the moment - if you're worried about prescribed antidepressants you could try taking St. John's Wort (the herb) instead. It worked for me for years and you can often get it in your local supermarket (I like it from Asda as they come in easy to swallow shaped tablets). Failing ...
