It's nibbling at the edges

Hello all, it's been such a long time since I have been here (which is testament to how it is possible to have long periods of respite from depression). That said the toll of the last two years has finally ground me down and I find my resilience so low at the moment. I am open and keep letting those...

Re: In need of some advice regarding bipolar

Thank you for your honesty.

As a recovered/ing depressive I am aware of how black my moods were.

He is not a bad man, and i think i'd rather deal with a bit of heart break now than be partially responsible for another lady suffering due to my actions.

You said what i needed to hear.

Re: Feeling really low

On balance things have been going well. I have been working in a different office for several months and it has been great to work with people who genuinely seem like growns ups. Sadly it is only temporary and in 6 weeks I'll be back in what feels like the kiddies playground. The depression is in ch...

Re: Feeling really low

Hiya Judith,

The peaks and troughs make life so hard. Just take baby steps. If it's toast and pizza for a few days so be it. Keep your fluids up - try and find something easy to watch on tv and don't be too hard on yourself.

Thinking of you x

I understand now.

Have you told your key worker that? I know it can be really scary, but being open and trying to discuss what you feel is a really big step in moving forward. There is no magic cure all bit I have faith you will get through this.

Carebear I know you are having the odd issue, but why do you want to escape?

Who is your key nurse? Speak to them. Running away won't really help in the long run. You are there to help you get better. Don't let other issues crowd that.

Thinking of you.

All getting a bit much. *trig*

I'm feeling crap. My work issues are still not getting resolved. It's tiring. I feel so drained. The stress is stopping me sleeping. I swing between anger and tears. I'm single so I don't have someone to give me a hug, to be there for me, to just listen and love me anyway. I'm feeling very alone, an...

Hi DC,

Hope you are coping - even if it is just minute by minute.

Don't take on too much at work - really important you pace yourself.
