Re: How are things progressing Isap

Hello Chris Yes i understand that fear of fear thought process. I have been seen by crisis and home treatment teams many times. I always say i feel i am the worst i have ever been, because i truly feel that. They answer by saying everyone feels that way when they are stuck in that spiralling black h...

Re: How are things progressing Isap

Sorry to hear that you are struggling Chris.
Sometimes these thoughts and moods come from nowhere.
The black cloud will lift. One hour at a time.

Re: How are things progressing Isap

Hi Chris

I hope you are coping .

I was interested in your post re autism and bipolar. I hadn't realised it was so high.
I think an autistic person without a mental health condition is rare ,given the struggles with every day life, and trying to fit in.

Thinking of you. Xx

Re: How are things progressing Isap

Hello Chris I was interested to read about your brothers. It proves how autism affects people differently. One twin has thrived, the other has not. I too have a brother in his 40's. Undiagnosed but still lives at home as a recluse. As you say, a wasted life. My autism has definitely held me back soc...

Re: How are things progressing Isap

Hello Chris Pleased to see you had a positive dental appointment. Lucky to not need any treatment too. The benzo withdrawal sounds very scary. From what I have heard ,it is common to have problems when stopping altogether. Hearing voices is not a nice thing to experience. I am happy to answer your a...

Re: How are things progressing Isap

Hello Chris I think you have given Debs some good advise there. In England you have to be in secondary mental health care to see a psychiatrist regularly. I think GPs can request a medication appointment, but from what i have heard, most are done by contacting the GP, and the patient not actually se...

Re: How are things progressing Isap

Hi Chris How are you doing today? I was interested to read about the TCAs. I tried almost all the SSRIs, with no positive results. Lofepremine worked quite well for a while, which was a breakthrough. I am now on 25mg Amitriptyline, prescribed for fibromyalgia pain. I have some pain relief, but have ...
