Re: What would you do?

Thank you for your reply. I've written her an email in which I have expressed my concerns but tried to be sensitive to her viewpoint. However, I have said that I think she should have a check up as I'm worried about her symptoms x

Re: What would you do?

Also, graves disease can affect the eyes. I'm wondering if the 'angels' she can see is a symptom of an eye problem caused by graves disease and if it is flaring up again.

What would you do?

It's about a friend of mine - this may be long as we have history, and I am grateful to anyone who gets through it x We're both 42 and have known each other all our lives, as our parents knew each other before we were born. We didn't go to school together, but we were extremely close, and were best ...

Re: PETTITON TO BRING BACK PRIVATE MESSAGING!

I support this petition and I disagree with the mods response. It is not their job to moderate private messaging - just the boards. If someone were to feel they were being harassed or bullied on pm's though, this could be sent to the mods for them to act upon it if necessary. Private messaging would...

It would be easier though, if the site notified people of replies. x

Re: Discrimination?

Thank you for your replies. I have been signed off work and am considering my options. In the meantime, I've applied for three jobs. I think it is discrimination personally, but at the same time, I don't think they know they're doing it. But it's quite clear they don't really want me there. To be ho...

Re: urgent advice needed

Hi Lisa, I am also suffering with anxiety about my job. I have bipolar. I just wondered, have you sought help through your gp for this? Are you on any medication? Therapy is good, especially CBT but sometimes it is not everything you need. I empathise with the anxious feelings though - I have never ...

Discrimination?

I just wanted to see what you think of this. I started a new job in November. I had a medical, disclosed my bipolar and stipulated that the only reasonable adjustment was to be able to talk to my line management about it should I feel low. This was stated in the medical report. My line manager then ...

Re: this forum

I know what you mean. There are usually very few replies to posts (not blaming anyone here - but the forum is very quiet), and also you don't get notifications when someone replies, so you can easily miss them if it's been a while since posting. This is such an important forum, from a respected orga...
