Re: How are things progressing Isap

Hi Chris. Thank you for your advice. I think I am strong lately. I haven't given in yet. Don't struggle? I think I know what it means. Do you manage in any way. tto 'relax' into your anxiety. I think it must be possible. I'm sorry to go on but this is my big worry Over the last few years my anxiety ...

Re: How are things progressing Isap

Hi Chris I hope your meds arrive soon. I feel for you. This waiting but not being quite sure is most awful (I am waiting for my increase in preg.... to kick in too early yet). I think never giving in is massively important and you don't. Though I am aware that in your position there is little manouv...

Re: How are things progressing Isap

Hi Chris Yes, that sort of worry can be megawatt scary An example of mine A few years ago I had a symptom that needed checking. Dr referred me to consultant and assured me it would be ok but obliged to check it. I believed him.but went into a state of awful fear. So much so that 7 days later I had t...

Re: How are things progressing Isap

Hi Chris So I've looked up paroxetine and venlafaxine I came off the highest dose of par... after long term use over a period of 2 weeks. (Highest dose only for 6 week) I had flu like symptoms. Manageable. Caro is probably right about risk. But I do think most people get on ok. If you're suffering e...

Re: Emotional resilience and the impact of its lack

That sounds promising andthistoo. Not the same but until I met my first husband at 19, I saw men in a potential. relationship role. There were men who I knew I wouldn't want to date, tbose I was somehow uncomfortable with.and the ones II'fancied' and couldn't speak to. Whilst I was at school I was v...

Re: How are things progressing Isap

Hi Chris Reading Caro's reply I feel wary of saying more. She is far more knowledgeable about drugs than me. Having said that I can relate to your attitude. The worry is intense and having experienced that I know I would probably take extreme measures. So I would say listen to Caro but if coming off...

Re: How are things progressing Isap

Hi Chris I'm sorry for this late reply. Part of it is my husband going for a colonoscopy on Wednesday which they couldn't do in the end. Without going into details it was our mistake. I think I used the right word. Checking out his colon. You seem to be going through big changes in your meds. Change...

Re: How are things progressing Isap

Hi Chris It's probably a Saints day. A week is a long time in Mental illness. I have to sign an extra box now for my pregabalin as it's becoming widely abused. When I was in the shop today I told a custome i know r that I was on pregabalin. At that word she told me of all sorts of awful things that ...

Re: How are things progressing Isap

Hi Chris

I'm sorry the tramadol isn't working just as well but that's good you're getting relief from the headaches and constipation.

Once one tablet comes out like that more will follow. I think it's the most optimistic step since the advent of SSRIs.

God bless

Re: How are things progressing Isap

Hi Chris I saw a doctor today who increased the pregabalin to 600mg. I haven't seen this doctor before and she seems reasonably good. (There's a big problem in Britain with GPs. No one wants to be one anymore and some surgeries run on locums). Anyway I hope this gets me back to an okay level. Yes. B...
