Re: How are things progressing Isap

Hello Caro Thanks for your prompt reply. Am very sorry to hear you are in pain but at least you know things will improve in a few days. Your husband is a saint. It's scandalous he doesn't get holiday pay or sickness benefit ( another cost saving trick borrowed from the USA). To stick with you for be...

Re: How are things progressing Isap

Hello Caro Yes, very helpful reply. Especially regarding the sensory symptoms. The cellmate is in denial. So are my two younger twin brothers. Definitely Asperger's. It's not only obvious to me, but my sister's doctor friend diagnosed them as such when she came round to the house a few years back. A...

Re: How are things progressing Isap

Hello Caro I just wanted to ask you something about autism. I hope you don't mind. My cellmate is cranky. He was diagnosed with bipolar but says there is nothing wrong him. I think he may be autistic too. He can stare at the same page in a car magazine or map in an atlas for ages. He lacks empathy f...

Re: How are things progressing Isap

Hello Caro Thanks for asking. I hope you are as well as can be following your painful operation. I thought I had come off clonazepam successfully. 4 days after stopping completely, I started getting mild symptoms of psychosis, hearing sounds in my head that didn't exist. From previous experience of ...

Re: How are things progressing Isap

Hello Debs Glad you are having better days. You deserve them. I guess you decided £500 is too much. I wouldn't want to pay that even if I was rich. When I was running out of venlafaxine I had to reduce to 75mg. It didn't seem to make much difference to when I was on double. By taking 112.5 I'm also ...

Re: What is this?

I'm only guessing here, but you have somehow managed to shut out the onset of depression by completely suppressing your emotions.

Some counseling might be a wise first step. Your GP might be able to refer you if you can't afford it but there could be a long wait.

Re: How are things progressing Isap

Hello Debs and Caro £500 is daylight robbery! I never knew how much MH services had declined in the UK since I last used in 2001. Most countries don't have GPs and you go straight to the psychiatrist. I don't know how well off your brother is but there is no guarantee a psychiatrist's recommendation...

Re: How are things progressing Isap

Hello Debs Sorry to hear about the persistent anxiety. It's commendable that you have time for s friend in spite of that. I'm guessing a private psychiatrist costs £100 - £150. I've had to go private on two occasions. I'd be inclined to accept your brother's kind offer despite the cost. He needs to ...
