Re: Tory sponsored Hate crimes against sick and unemployed

No; i will not tolerate rudeness. This meant to be a sharing forum, sharing experiences, etc It doesn't mean you can come on lauding it over me and saying i am burying my head in the sand. I didn't insult anyone, i've made my apologies and explained what i meant. Maybe you dont think i have a balanc...

Re: Tory sponsored Hate crimes against sick and unemployed

Hi there, i certainly wasn't intent on invalidating anyones experience; if it looks that way, then i apologise. I dont follow politics, so i dont know whats happening; i have my own issues to sort without worrying about the news. I was merely saying how i see it. no harm was meant; i just didn't thi...

Re: Feeling very low

I understand what you say about friends and family, having their own problems; in this case however, it may not be a bad thing for them to know how you feel. If you dont tell them; they dont know and wont be able to help you. Its not a bad thing to let people know how you're doing, its about your ow...

Re: Feeling very low

Maybe, you're not happy or satisfied in your job anymore? I was unhappy in my last job for about 5 or more years and the last three were the worst, i had two long absence periods of six months at a time, and when i was there all i did to exist was go to work, come home, eat, shower and sleep, the we...

Re: Tory sponsored Hate crimes against sick and unemployed

I'll cross that bridge when i come to it! Thank you! :) I hope one day things change for you, i really do! at least enough for you to see that life is NOT pain; life is life, its what you do in it, and how you look after yourself that matters, it doesn't have to be pain. Take care, and look after yo...

Re: Tory sponsored Hate crimes against sick and unemployed

I lost my job last year, it was due to not being supported with my mental health in the workplace, the company had no idea how to handle it, and sought instead to find a way to fire me. I found out that there was NOTHING i could do about it. The laws of this country concerning employment are not for...

Re: Sharing through experience

I have been through much hurt and pain in my life; i have had, so far, three and 3/4 years of counselling which has helped me greatly; i still have a fair way to go on my "journey", but i am more than happy to share my successes, and share things that will help others! If just ONE person f...

Re: Mental health services suddenly taken me off of case load ... help

Thoughts, weak or strong; are what they are; thoughts. You can learn to let them come and go; they will anyway. Dont argue with the thoughts; just let them come; do nothing about them, just acknowledge them as they come, and let them drift away in the wind! If everybody went with their thoughts, or ...

Re: Coming off Citalopram

Hi there, not an expert in these matters, but when you came of Citalopram last time, you say you were pregnant, you probably didn't feel like you do now because of hormones due to your pregnancy. I hated Citalopram; it made me very very hot, my skin felt like it was on fire from inside it; horrid! H...
